silkspotter
Know who is running, in seconds
A racecourse is a bad place to be squinting at a race card. The silks are the only reliable way to tell one runner from another at distance, and they are exactly the thing a photograph captures well.
silkspotter takes the photo and does the identification in two passes: first scoring colour and pattern against the registered silks, then visually re-verifying the best candidates against the actual field for that race. That second pass is what makes the answer trustworthy rather than merely plausible.
It then links directly into the specific race, so identifying a runner and acting on it are one motion rather than two.
