This policy covers this website, burton-labs.com. It does not cover the products; each one has its own privacy policy on its own site or store listing.
What this site collects
There is no account to create, no form to fill in and no newsletter to join, so there is nothing you can submit to this site. It collects the following, and nothing else.
A count of page views
The readout in the corner of the home page is a single running total of how many times the page has been loaded. It is one number. No address, no cookie, no identifier and nothing per-visitor is stored alongside it, which means it cannot distinguish one person from another or tell anyone that you were here.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not track you across other websites. It is used because it answers the only question worth asking, which is whether anyone is reading, without following you around to do it.
Server logs
Like any website, requests pass through Cloudflare's network and are logged there for security and reliability. Those logs are held by Cloudflare under their terms and are not used to build any profile of you.
What this site does not do
- No advertising or marketing trackers of any kind.
- No Meta pixel, no Google Ads tags, no session replay.
- No cookies set by this site.
- Nothing sold, rented or shared with data brokers.
If you write to hello@burton-labs.com or support@burton-labs.com, that message is received in order to answer it, and kept as long as it is useful to have the thread. It is not added to a mailing list.
Links to other sites
Product links point to the App Store, Google Play and product websites. Once you follow one, that service's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
